Planning & Prep for the 2009 NALC December 08 2008 – April 20 2009 Work began on the planning and preparation for the YWAM North American Leader’s Conference happening April 20-24, 2009 in Estes Park, Colorado. For all practical purposes planning began as the last conference closed in Santa Fe, New Mexico in April 2007. However, now we will be fully consumed with dealing with all the needed plans like: budget, travel, brochures, banner, housing, program, and all that goes with this event.
YWAM 4K Prayer Iniative Trip to NV, NM, AZ March 15 2009 – March 20 2009 Our travel through Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona visiting and praying for and with our ministry centers there. Plans are for meeting all our YWAM ministry leaders & staff as we travel from Austin, TX after our NASCAR race ministry there. Timing here is important to accomplish all our goals and we covet your prayers.
YWAM North American Office 4K Project in North & South Dakota March 23 2009 – April 14 2009 To be announced: As plans fall into place for us to place or feet onto the North American 4K Zones of North Dakota and South Dakota we will keep you posted. This needs to take place before the North American Leader’s Conference in Estes Park, CO beginning April 20th. For kathy and Bob it means before April 13th since the 14th through 18th is booked with their NASCAR ministry in Phoenix, AZ. Please keep this need and the finances for all of this project lifted up before the Lord in prayer. Thank you.
YWAM North American Leader’s Conference April 20 2009 – April 24 2009 The 2009 NALC will take place during 4 days in Estes Park, Colorado at the 900+ acre YMCA of the Rockies. It offers time to come together as a entire North American staff. Campus Directors and leaders bring along with them their upcoming young leaders of the future which builds a strong vision for the USA, Canada, Greenland, and Saint Pierre & Miquelon. Update: YWAM North American Conference April 17 2009 – April 24 2009 Friday April 17th is Bob’s travel day from the NASCAR race ministry in Phoenix, AZ to Denver, CO where he will meet Kathy and the YWAM North American Office team flying in from Salem, OR on Saturday to make preperations for the conference beginning on Monday the 20th. The YWAM North American Leader’s Conference begins Monday April 20th and runs through Friday morning April 24th. This year’s conference follows directly after the 2007 conference model and what the Lord had set before YWAM North America to accomplish in the two years leading up to this conference. As a North American Office team we followed the Lord’s leading to place our feet upon each and ever 4K Omega Zone in North America and pray for it plus proclaim the exact same scriptures and words He had given to us for the 2007 conference. We accomplished standing upon all 86 of those Omega Zones at the beginning of April 2009. Now as we draw together again as YWAM North America we look to see, hear, and plan to accomplish what the Lord sets before us in His plan for the future. YWAM Cowboys With A Mission NIKO in Wyoming August 16 2009 – August 22 2009 The plan is to leave from Denver following the NASCAR Camping World Series West race on Saturday August 15th and go directly to Meeteese, Wyoming to help staff a four and a half day NIKO program. We staffed the very first one there a number of years ago and look forward to being there with them again. You can check out this program under our YWAM Ministry heading on the left column. NIKO September 10 2009 – September 14 2009 Bob once again gets to staff one of his favorite ministries within YWAM …the NIKO Leadership & Teambuilding program. This will be the 33rd time he has had this privilege and it will be very special to his heart to participate in the dramatic, life changing, ministry where we as a family have seen and been part of so many people experiancing incredible growth. Please keep Bob & the staff along with the participants in your prayers during this time. THANKS!!!
Code 4 CISM Training Update October 05 2009 – October 05 2009 Kathy & Bob will be updating their credentials in the Critical Incident Stress Management, or more readily defined as Pastoral Crisis Intervention in a two day class on October 5th and 6th. We desire to keep up to date in the latest techniques to help people in crisis situations in todays’ world. This not only is used in the auto racing ministry but in YWAM and at any time a situation arises in our home area.
